Window Treatments: By The Water

Marina von Ruess

As most of you know, I am attending ALT SUMMIT and will be pretty busy but I have been having so much fun with all these Window Treatment inspirational & educational posts that I thought I would continue along with that theme.. (and I still have my Giveaway going, so it kind of makes sense!)

So today I wanted to share some images from rooms with great window treatments by the water, whether outdoors, near a pool or simply by the bath..

Enjoy!

  1. I love these bathrooms. My favourite is the second Pinterest one. It is sumptious and a cross between a boudoir and and a bathroom - does that make it a bathoir? I think bathrooms should be opulent and a place for recuperation and relaxation rather than looking too much like a hotel bathroom suite. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Many apartment buildings, and even homes, are built close enough for us to see our neighbors through their windows and vice versa. Using some sort of window treatments covering gives us visual privacy so we can feel like our space is our own.
