Color Wheel: New York Gift Show Inspired

Color was in abundance at the New York Gift Show this season.
Every where you looked, at every stand and at every section of the show, color was everywhere.

Through the Color Wheel today, I will try and recap a few pops of color from several exciting vendors.

I really liked these alternative to beaded lighting by Ro Sham Beaux by designer Ann Yancy Rogers who in 1997 relocated her lighting design firm to Charleston, S.C. They are all customizable, by shade, size, or any other material you can dream up.

I love these rare books from the fantastic Potterton Books. Clare Jameson is the owner and always has the most extraordinary selection. These are a few finds with old wall coverings and textiles. Whether you would like these to keep as inspirational tools or because you would wish to use them framed, etc, there is enough of a selection here for all.

The finest of supple Italian Leather is the base material for these great Lance Wovens products.
Pillows, stools, handbags or Rugs! - you name it, they have it!
The colors are incredible, not to mention the variety of patterns and weaves. I have fallen in love ~

These adjustable armless seats in wool were very comfortable and while thinking about seating for a playroom or children's bedroom, these are a cute option by Chehoma.

There were a variety of pillows and throws with really vibrant colors.
I was especially drawn to the outdoor rug collection by Koko Company. It's time to start thinking about Spring and how great it will be to spend the warm days outside. Why not accessorize, right?

Pacific Connections always has great collections of lacquered items, but these were new colors and patterns that got my attention.

But Middle Kingdom really hit a note with me introducing this strong red and purple *mini collection*, especially as I was dressed in the same color combo!

The shocking lime green was actually a mistake in the kiln which created this very small quantity of this on trend color. Sometimes mistakes are how you reach your most inspired creations.. If you are interested though, reach out to me right away, as they are most probably not going to be able to replicate that color any time soon.

I thought I would end with these earthier color tones. We don't all need to introduce shocking or neon into our color schemes in order to feel that there is a sense of color.
This mustard yellow or even the grey are really beautiful and more subtle accessory choices for those with a less vibrant palette.
