Continuing from yesterday's post on Pierre Frey, today I wanted to share a little on the world of Niedermaier as the other of our Blogger lounge hosts during Fall Market at the D&D Building.
Another firm, growing from one creative force, in 1965, Dale and Judy started Niedermaier, & as a great example of "Made in the USA" products, this firm creates and manufactures distinctive modern furniture, lighting and accessories in their Chicago workroom. Although, sadly Judith passed away last year, the work and brand with passion lives on.

All shapes and sizes, styles and aesthetic sensibilities are available, and enhanced with some of the collaborations with diverse designers such as Vincente Wolf such as the Lounge Chair (above), Carlos Martinez, Powell Kleinschmidt, Thomas Schlesser, Mark Demsky, Peter Ambrose, Edmond Fernandez and Denis Collura.
We were welcomed like kings and queens by the fabulous team at Niedermaier, with a feast beautifully displayed and beautiful surroundings.. I happened to fall in love with perhaps one of the smallest detail in the showroom...

but among the great pieces of furniture were these two beauties - just begging to come home with me!

Gallery Low Table in Whitewashed Oak
or the Juxe Side Tables Engineered Macassar,
With a great emphasis on clean lines, and high quality materials, many custom and tailored options are available, just like the Gallery Low Table in Whitewashed Oak or the Juxe Side Tables Engineered Macassar, these are statement pieces within simplicity.
With every change of finish, or by adding a custom detail, there are so many possibilities of making each piece your own.. I for one, was very excited to have been able to spend some time getting to know this brand and will hopefully be specifying them for clients very soon!
