Travel Makes Perfect - Reporting from Paris' Maison et Objet and Paris Deco Off

Opening our eyes to the beauty around us, sometimes requires us to go beyond our comfort zone and experience other cities,.. other cultures.. so that we feel inspired at home once again.

Continuing to share my visit in Paris from last week, here are some more images of the beautiful stands and
shops from both Maison et Objet and Paris Deco Off in the heart of St. Germain.

even the restauarants within the show are designed and filled with inspiration..

Although many of the showrooms were part of the Paris Deco Off within Paris, many of the brands still showed their new collections at Maison et Objet.

 there was most certainly a recurring Retro or Vintage theme which we saw in many of the stands..

these fully fitted out safes were stunning!

Moving on to Paris Deco Off where the streets were lined with Lampshades wrapped in textiles by some of 77 showrooms participating..

all the windows were fully dressed, except for this one !

Walking through the streets of my favorite area, and where I always stay when in Paris, St. Germain not only offers some of the fabulous designer textile showrooms but also many Parisian delights such as French pottery and of course chocolates!
